Beyond the Match: Introducing Coptic Meet's New Online Events
New friendships. Meaningful introductions. Shared faith. This November and December, Coptic Meet brings Coptic and Orthodox Christians around the world together through thoughtfully designed online experiences.
There is a particular comfort in meeting someone who understands a part of your life you rarely need to explain. A familiar hymn. A shared tradition. The experience of growing up between cultures. Or simply knowing that faith holds a meaningful place in someone else's life, too.
For Coptic and Orthodox Christians living across cities and continents, those moments of recognition can be difficult to find. This season, Coptic Meet is creating more opportunities for them to happen.
Introducing two online experiences: The Friendship Edit, for those looking to build genuine friendships, and Connections Night, for singles open to romantic possibilities. Whether you are expanding your circle or hoping to meet someone special, each gathering offers a simple place to begin: a real conversation.
The Friendship Edit: Online Speed Friending
November 21 & December 12, 2026 | Online | $15 per person
Friendship rarely appears on our calendars as something to pursue intentionally. We assume it will emerge through work, church, mutual acquaintances, or chance. Yet as lives grow busier and communities become more dispersed, meeting new people does not always happen naturally.
The Friendship Edit offers a different approach: one-hour online gatherings for relaxed introductions, interesting conversations and new friendships rooted in cultural familiarity. It is entirely platonic, not romantic speed dating. Separate sessions are offered for women and men, with age-specific groups; single and married participants are welcome.

Created for Coptic and Orthodox Christian singles, Connections Night offers real-time introductions within age-specific groups. Discover common ground and see whether a first conversation inspires another. No elaborate introductions. No pressure to manufacture a spark.
